Why we exist
We didn’t set out to sell software. We kept seeing community and intermediate care teams held back by tools that weren’t built for them, stitching together spreadsheets and systems that didn’t talk to each other, and spending time on admin that should be spent supporting people.
We’re building Amelio to ensure these teams have digital tools that work, that meet the reality of day-to-day working in community services. We work alongside the services that use it, and we measure ourselves on the outcomes they deliver.

An experienced founding team, backed by Innovate UK and trusted by NHS and council services. We’ve seen the problems community health and care face, and are here to help fix them.
A Cambridge engineer who spent years consulting inside NHS and council health and care services - from boosting one reablement service's throughput by 50% to helping stand up the South West's first fully integrated community health and social care service. Co-founded Amelio to give those teams tools built for how they actually work.
A Cambridge mathematician who started out as a nuclear engineer, before spending seven years in operational consulting, leading health and social care improvement programmes across the country. Brings that operational depth to every decision Amelio makes about how the product should work.
Amelio's CTO, who spent nearly nine years as a senior engineer at Atlassian before co-founding the company. Architected Amelio's platform from the ground up, turning the messy, real-world complexity of community care into software that just works - and stays reliable when whole services depend on it.
